La Femme! : A community-building experience for women This 6-week Theatrical Healing series is an extended interactive drama workshop aimed at creating communal experiences around the issues that concern women in all their diversity. Using a progressive method of exploration and demystification, we will engage a simple yet powerful theatrical process to revisit our notions of what it means to be a female today and re-assess the roles that define us. Every 2-hour session will be dedicated to a certain aspect of the feminine, to be explored through a participatory technique known as Theatre of the Oppressed, a step-by-step process that offers us the opportunity to “step out of the box” in order to re-imagine our lives and face its challenges with a new spark. The desired outcome of such a course is to create a significant community of women, a support group for themselves and for others, who are inspired by their workshop experiences to tap into their feminine energy and spirit in new, creative ways.
