Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP)
NLP is the study of the structure of subjective experience. It is a very effective methodology for modelling human excellence by using certain techniques, which involve finding the relationship between the brain, language and physiology by understanding what the person does inside his or her head (i.e. language, programmes, body movements, breathing and much more). By doing this, we can create change by eliminating any negative experiences and by identifying and changing any limiting beliefs.

This can be summarised through the very term NLP:

N : Neuro; the relationship between mind and body and how it works;

L : Linguistic; the language we use to describe our personal experience or the world around us;

P : Programming; our thoughts and behaviour, and the patterns and sequences we use to express them.

In addition to health-related issues, NLP is widely used in business management, education, personal skills and personal development. Thus, NLP can tackle problems in any area of one’s existence by finding out what is really happening and why, and by opening the doors to a better, happier and more rewarding life.

Workshop: What is NLP?
NLP (Neuro-Linguistic Programming) was created in the early 1970s by Richard Bandler, a student of psychology at the University of California, Santa Cruz, and John Grinder, an Assistant Professor in Linguistics, when they asked the question: “What is the difference that makes the difference?”

This simple question opened the door for modelling successful humans by understanding how they perceive the world around them, then by applying the lessons to others to achieve the same effects.

They started to create certain techniques to use, and since then the second generation of NLP innovators, such as Robert Dilts, have added many others.

NLP enables people to make very positive changes in their lives and to be in control of their thoughts and feelings. It can be used to define outcomes and goals, improve relationships and make you achieve whatever you want in your life. NLP will help you take action for a better life.

In this workshop, we will talk about the main principles of NLP – to know how it works. For me personally, studying NLP was the turning point in my life and the lives of the people around me.

Workshop: NLP and Health
Around 2500 years ago, Hippocrates taught that, when people are healthy, this is evidence that they are in a state of harmony with themselves and with the world around them, and that whatever affects the mind affects the body.

“If you want to know what your thoughts were like yesterday then check how your body feels today.” Indian Proverb

Disease is the last signal our body gives to tell us that something is going wrong. To take action, we need to follow the saying “Precaution is better than treatment.” And we will do that by going inside and listen to the messages our body is giving us.

So in this workshop we will ask the simple question: How would you define being healthy? You will be amazed how diverse the answers are. We will tackle the main challenges (pain, stress... etc) to our health and analyse how we can deal with them. You will be able to take action and make changes to achieve better health; you are in charge of your health and your life.

Workshop: The Art of Communication
Have you ever been in a situation when you want other people to listen to what you are saying or see your point of view? Have people told you that you don’t understand them? Have you ever wanted to deliver a message and the receiver took it differently? Then this workshop is for you.

The aims of this workshop are:

  • Create a common understanding between people.

  • Get people to respond to what you want not just what you say.

  • To be able to notice the feedback immediately and adjust your message even before finishing delivering it.

  • To be able to focus on the solution and give it a wider space, much greater than the problem space.
