BiopsychologyIntroduction to Biopsychology Biopsychology is a method of self-control of one’s negative emotions and their effect on our health. The techniques of biopsychology harmonize the physical and mental energies and contribute to integral health. Glandular system: the door of easy access to our emotional balance Our mental states are intimately related to the hormones secreted by our endocrine glands which are the physical connections to our cakras or plexi of energy. Biopsychology is based on the ancient science of Tantra Yoga (not the yoga of sex as it is popularly known but the “yoga that aims to liberate the mind.”) According to Tantra the sub-centres of the cakras are vortices of psychic energy and correspond to particular emotional states such as depression, hope, lack of self-confidence, love etc. Diagnosing negative tendencies and
revitalizing energy centres The practices of biopsychology were created to help us to diminish the negative attitudes that perturb our balance such as fear, irritation, anxiety, lethargy etc. and accentuate those that are positive such as dynamism, courage, concentration, tenacity, intuition, peace etc. In this way we have a powerful tool of self diagnosis to initiate the healing process of several physical problems that are psycho-somatic expressions of chronically negative emotions. Working with your subtle energy In biopsychology the ancient knowledge of Tantra yoga is aligned with the recent research and movement of “Body-Mind-Medicine” or the new science of PNI (psycho-neuro-immunology). The workshop programme includes among its practices visualization, breathing, group dynamics, yoga postures, art therapy, psycho drama, meditation and nutrition. Workshop Details
