Léon Schmets is born on June the 4th, 1959, in Eygelshoven, The Netherlands. As a boy at the age of 14, he decided not to confess to any religion because he recognized that all religions follow the same basic principle of loving one another. Ever since the search for the true higher being of man has guided his life. At first, having a scientific attitude, he studied the logical approach presented by Rudolf Steiner in his Anthroposophy. Later his intuitive side took the lead when he recognized that he was picking up too much energies from his environment. Having studied Shiatsu massage from 1983 until 1985, he studied aura healing, reading and leading from 1997 until 2001. He received the Usui Reiki attunements as well as the Shambhalla reiki attunements. He studied a Course in Miracles and learnt the EMF Balancing Technique® and EFT. Together with his life partner Annemieke Huijben, who is an EMF Teacher, they work full time in their company Trust in Balance, where they give classes, massages, healing-sessions and make meditation CDs and DVDs. Léon and Annemieke come regularly to Egypt to conduct a Practitioner Certification Training of EMF Balancing Technique®. When Léon is in Egypt he is also available to give private EMF Balancing Technique® sessions and Emotional Freedom Technique sessions.
