Reiki is a hands-on healing technique, which is based on the idea of a
universal life force. Reiki practitioners access this force and use it for
healing mind, body and spirit. By laying their hands on various parts of the
body in turn, they transmit energy to help restore it's natural flow around the
recipient's body. This also releases any blockages that may prevent the
recipients from reaching their full potential. Reiki has it's own inherent
wisdom and acts as a force that gives people what they need, rather than what
they ask for.
How Reiki Helps
Reiki can provide a straightforward and simple way of healing
long-term disorders and conditions. Reiki is said to be particularly useful for
people suffering from medical conditions like eczema, asthma, allergy,
headaches, migraines, back pain and arthritis. All of these conditions are
common and widespread, yet can be debilitating and depressing. Reiki
practitioners believe that these conditions may simply be outer symptoms of an
inner disease. They may indicate a lack of balance and blockages in the energy
