Qi Gong
Qi Gong is
a Chinese practice for health emanating from Chinese philosophy (originally
Taoism). It is an art of living and of self—training for our total being, to
achieve harmony within our body and with the universe.
As the Chinese language is a suggestive language, therefore “Qi” means
simultaneously, breath, energy, spirit,” and “Gong” means moving, revitalizing
repeatedly. The practice aims at being rooted, being in one’s center and being
in harmony, by learning to feel, to direct and be directed by “Qi.” Breathing,
attentive concentration, imagination and coordination of all those with
movements are the key to our internal world.
This class is presented by Hend Abd Al. Hend also offers a self massage workshop.
