Through simple physical exercises that aim at bringing awareness and fitness to the body, and through different techniques of breathing and directing the breath to different parts in our bodies, this course aims at introducing body awareness from a very physical perspective. The breath here acts as a way to navigate our bodies from the inside, bringing more awareness, and opening. The physical exercises combined with the different ways of breathing improve the circulation while working out and help release the extra tension held up in our bodies, allowing a maximum use of the stretches and muscle work introduced and a maximum use of the breath with minimal effort. This 'breathing and body awareness' classes are presented in a series of 8 weekly classes. It's a very physical approach to a spiritual bodily experience. The classes require comfortable training or working out clothes.
